Description
As everyone has seen on the news, my country, the Philippines, was gravely hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan (locally named Yolanda). It left so many provinces in our country completely wiped out and people are fearing that the death toll might reach 10,000. Not only are there so many missing persons, many more are suffering with no food to eat, no clean water to drink and no place to seek shelter. Worst of all, they have lost their homes. It's heartbreaking and it always makes me cry. I feel so helpless seeing them crying, trying to survive.
To my countrymen and to the people around the world, I offer these roses to soothe the souls of the departed. Requiescat in pace. Let's not just pray for their souls; work to help those who survived and are trying to stand up.
THANK YOU to the nations and various organizations that sent donations and manpower to help us during these troubling times. We are ONE, we are the WORLD.
PS I thought of selling this print (in case someone likes it) so I could donate the money to help those who were able to survive.
